See an artwork you like? Need a bit of time to decide? Just let me know here. I will put a hold on your painting for a day or two. No payment required.
All sales are FINAL. Shipping costs, possible wear and tear of the artwork, etc. all play a part in this policy.
However, if you feel more comfortable that there is a return option, especially for the larger artwork (I understand), please contact me here.
Shipping & Duty
Prices on this website (ChristineMontague.com) that include shipping apply to Canada and the U.S.A. only. Please contact me here about shipping to other locations.
Worldwide shipping is available. So far, I have shipped my polar bear paintings to the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Bermuda, and across Canada and the USA.
All paintings , whether purchased directly from Christine Montague or through her affiliate online gallery, ship directly from Christine’s Toronto area studio in Ontario, Canada.
Paintings purchased directly from the artist are usually shipped with Canada Post. All paintings are carefully packed (its a big job!) , and mailed with insurance and tracking. As soon as I ship the painting, I send you the tracking info.
Paintings purchased through my affiliate online gallery (although they still ship from my studio) are shipped with DHL or Fedex. All communication about tracking etc., will be between the client and the affiliate gallery.
All duty charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Many countries do not charge duty for original artwork by a living artist.
