The beautiful polar bear is a strong and confident swimmer. Its powerful, partially webbed front paws move it swiftly through the water and its hind paws act as rudders. I use bright, strong colours to illustrate this sure, strong movement forward.

This painting is a created with a palette knife and acrylic paints. The playfulness I felt in experimenting with the medium and the knife ( I usually use brushes of varying sizes and oil paints) comes through in this cheery polar bear painting .

I also feel the white, textured paint reminds me of the the snow on the rocks of the arctic.

The sides of the artwork are painted black. The painting is signed and comes with a unique work completion number as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired and ready to hang.
