See an artwork you like? Need a bit of time to decide? Just let me know here. I will put a hold on your painting for a day or two. No payment required. Simply contact me in menu.

Payment By Instalment Plan

How can I help you bring my art to your walls? If payment by instalment makes this easier for you, that’s great. We can talk about the time you need, but 3 months is my preferred maximum. This has to do with the time a painting can be kept out of circulation for its provenance, storage space, and the fact I am a small business. 10 % down is required and there is NO refund of any payments received. If you change your mind about purchasing the agreed upon painting for whatever reason, your money cannot be refunded. You can, however, choose another one of my available paintings that is at the same value as the money I have received from you. Payment instalments can be made at your convenience at any time up until the agreed upon final date of sale. Paintings do not ship until they are paid for in full.

Returns

All sales are FINAL. Shipping costs, possible wear and tear of the artwork, etc. all play a part in this policy.

However, if you feel more comfortable that there is a return option, especially for the larger artwork (I understand), please contact me here. I will send you the link to my affiliate gallery and they will handle the sale. Because this gallery is so large, they can afford the shipping and other details involved with returns. I still pack up the painting and it it still ships from my studio, but your contact re: payment, shipping date, return policy will all be arranged through them. They offer a two week trial and return policy. Note: Some of the paintings on ChristneMontague.com already have the link to the Saatchi Gallery site.

Shipping & Duty

Prices on this website (ChristineMontague.com) that include shipping apply to Canada and the U.S.A. only. Please contact me here about shipping to other locations. Some of the paintings do already have the link to click if you are from another country.

Worldwide shipping is available.  So far, I have shipped my polar bear paintings to the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Bermuda, and across Canada and the USA.

All paintings, whether purchased directly from ChristineMontague.com or through my affiliate online gallery, ship directly from my studio in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. (This is part of the western Greater Toronto Area). I’ve become quite the expert at packing paintings.

Paintings purchased directly from the artist on ChristineMontague.com are usually shipped with Canada Post. All paintings are carefully packed (its a big job!) , and mailed with insurance and tracking. As soon as I ship the painting, I send you the tracking info.

Paintings purchased through my affiliate online gallery (although they still ship from my studio) are shipped with DHL or Fedex. All communication about tracking etc., will be between the client and the affiliate gallery.

All duty charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Many countries do not charge duty for original artwork by a living artist.
