Portrait Paintings from a Photo You Supply

The Process:

It’s simple!

  1. Find the photo you love that is in focus, and where the facial features are clearly seen (no professional photographer’s photos please as they have copyright).

  2. Consider the size of portrait you desire, and the date you need it for.

  3. Contact me. Email me the photo(s) you would like to work with. I’ll take a look to see that I can work from it.

  4. After we’ve discussed your portrait by email, I begin to paint the portrait on canvas using the finest professional quality oil paints, usually Winsor & Newton.

  5. The edges of the canvas are painted, giving it a finished look. It is not framed, but is wired and ready to hang.

  6. As soon a I complete the portrait and it is dry (oils take a while), I email you an image of the completed painting for your approval.

  7. Please note: Portraits are done in the order received, so please consider this, drying and delivery time if you have a special date in mind. Contact me

  8. I email a link to the PayPal button on my website.

  9. After payment is received, the portrait is carefully packaged, ad shipped, tracked and insured. I email you the tracking number.

  10. Your portrait arrives!
